I am a photographer based out of Northern Kentucky, serving the tristate area and available for domestic and international travel. I have been photographing for nine years. I attended Thomas More University for my undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor’s of Arts in graphic design. I then went to the University of Cincinnati to receive a Master’s of Art History and a Master’s of Fine Arts, specializing in photography and filmmaking.
I would describe my photographic style as narrative, artistic, and authentic. My approach to photographing is strongly based off capturing fleeing moments. Since picking up my first camera I’ve been captivated by finding beauty in the ordinary.
Outside of this business, I am a professor of photography at Thomas More University and Northern Kentucky University. Teaching is one of my greatest passions and my students inspire me daily.
As much as I adore traveling, I’m in love with life in the country. I am a proud horse and cat mom. When I’m not photographing or teaching, I’m with my family, friends, or animals.
I have been blessed with so many clients who feel like family. I am honored to be able to play a small part in their lives and help tell their stories.
I get the travel bug often. My favorite place to visit is Galway, Ireland. I studied abroad there and have since visited every year. The people, culture, food, and fashion (Penneys!) are unparalleled.
My family is my world. Whether we’re hiking at state parks, exploring other countries, or spending the night playing euchre, I enjoy every minute.
I’m forever grateful for their constant love and support.
I’m a history nerd. I started experimenting with filmmaking in grad school and made a short documentary out of my art history thesis: WWII Parachute Wedding Dresses. I entered the film the the Galway Film Fleadh and somehow ended up on stage giving my first acceptance speech.
I’ve been blessed to teach over 300 students in the past five years. I’ve always been passionate about learning, but I didn’t discover my love for teaching until grad school. There is no greater joy than empowering students to create impactful art.
